Description: The invention relates to a butt plate for a weapon, in particular for a long weapon, with a tail spur.
Long weapons, especially for precise shot at a long distance, usually require a stable three-point support during firing. This is often achieved in practice by attaching a so-called bipod to the forearm of the weapon, which can be folded out as needed. The third bearing point is often formed by the end of the buttstock, which is placed on a firm pad.
There is also a tail spur known, which is integrated into the butt of a weapon and can be pulled out if necessary to verstel¬len the third bearing point in its height. Although it can increase the accuracy significantly; However, the subsequent attachment to any weapon is regularly not or only aesthetically unsatisfactory possible.
Based on this prior art, it is the object of the present invention to provide a butt plate with built-in tail spur, which has a simple structure, high accuracy and allows in a simple and easy way nachträglichan almost any weapon with different shank shapes can be attached.
This object is achieved by a butt plate according to the teaching of claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The butt plate of the present invention for a weapon, in particular a Langwaf¬, first comprises an intermediate piece for attachment to the rear facing the shooter of the shaft of the weapon and a cap of a recoil-damping material, the other pointing to the protecting side of the intermediate piece is fastened on. In this case, in a recess of the intermediate piece, a tail spur is displaceably mounted such that the rear spine can be moved from a position in which it is arranged substantially inside the recess into at least one second position in which one end of the tail spike protrudes from the intermediate piece in such a way in that the shaft can be supported on a firm support via the tailspin. According to the invention, the intermediate piece essentially consists of a machinable material. This means, in other words, that this can be easily adapted to different shank geometries by simple regrinding of the intermediate piece, so that on the one hand an aesthetically satisfying unit of weapon and buttock results and, on the other hand, almost any weapon subsequently with one Butt cap can be equipped.
In this case, the material is arbitrary, as long as sufficient workability is ensured. Preferably, however, the intermediate piece consists of a plastic material, insbesonde¬re of polyoxymethylene (POM). In addition, it is advantageous if the plastic material is dyed through, since then an unchanged Oberflächen¬ color is maintained after the intended processing.
The tailspin may be formed in basically any manner and example, consist of a threaded bolt, which is in the intermediate piece or ausdiesem ausschraubbar. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, however, the tail spur on a spur element and a mandrel element, wherein the spur element is provided on its outer side with locking elements and at least partially has a frontally open recess, which is provided with an internal thread into which a Dornele¬ment screwed is. In other words, the tail spur is formed in two parts with a spur member and a screw-in this mandrel element. Thus, the Verstellweginsgesamt be increased because, for example, first the spur element can be completely pulled out and when this has reached its final position, then additionally a unscrewing of the mandrel element can take place.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the locking elements of the spur element are formed by the threads of a trapezoidal thread disposed on the outside of the Spurselement, at the same time the internal thread is formed as a fine thread. As a result, a coarse or rapid adjustment of the tailspin by pulling out or unscrewing the spur element and a subsequent fine adjustment by unscrewing or screwing the spike element into the inner thread of the spur element can be achieved first.
For locking and adjustment of the butt plate according to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, a locking element is provided which is arranged in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the recess second recess such that an actuating element at least one locking tooth of the locking element with the locking elements of the spur element in Engageable and detachable from this intervention again. This makes it possible to achieve a coarse or rapid adjustment of the spur element by simply moving in a particularly simple and fast manner.
The locking element is provided according to a preferred embodiment of the invention with a transverse to its longitudinal axis recess which is penetrated by the spur element, wherein the locking tooth is arranged in the region of the inner wall of the recess.
In this case, the recess in the manner of a through hole having a closed circumference, wherein the locking element completely surrounds the spur element, or be designed as a recess open on one side, which surrounds the spur element only on one side.
In order to achieve a reliable and leicht¬gängige coarse or rapid adjustment especially in non-actuated locking element, according to a further Ausführungsbei¬spiel the invention, the locking tooth on the locking element arranged at an angle so that its inclination corresponds substantially to the pitch of the trapezoidal thread. In other words, this means that the locking tooth represents a very short portion of a counter thread to the trapezoidal thread, which causes an axial movement of the spur element during rotation of the spur element and thus unscrewing or screwing into the intermediate piece.
In the simplest way, the locking tooth on the locking element, in particular on the inner wall of the recess, be integrally formed. According to a further embodiment of the invention, however, the locking element on a dowel pin, which is arranged in a bore which opens radially in sections to the recess of the locking element, wherein the dowel pin protrudes with its outer peripheral surface in this recess and thus forms the detent tooth. This results, on the one hand, in an increased safety of the locking tooth against mechanical damage and, on the other hand, the production of the locking element is facilitated.
In order to ensure a secure locking position of the locking element, according to a further embodiment of the invention in the second recess at least one spring element is provided which presses the locking element against the locking elements of the spur element when the actuating element is not actuated. In this case, the locking engagement can be achieved in a simple manner in that the locking element is pressed against the spring force of the spring element.
For actuation of the locking element, the actuating element is formed by an axial end of the locking element according to a further embodiment, which is designed as a Betäti¬gungsknopf. In this case, the actuating knob and locking element can be integrally formed or the operating knob is arranged and attached as a separate element on the locking element.
According to a very particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, at least the actuating button, but preferably the locking element as a whole, consists of a machinable material, in particular of polyoxymethylene (POM). As a result, the geometry of the actuating element can also be adapted to the shape of the intermediate piece and thus of the shank, wherein it can be achieved both that the actuating element protrudes slightly beyond the intermediate piece in order to achieve a better tactile sensation, and also that the Actuating element is substantially flush with the contour of the intermediate piece or even slightly recessed, so as not to affect the appearance of the weapon.
For attachment of the intermediate piece on the shaft of the weapon, the intermediate piece may comprise at least one through hole for the passage of at least one Befestigungsschrau¬be for fixing the butt plate on the shaft of the weapon. Preferably, a plurality of such holes are provided in a different arrangement in order to create a mounting possibility for different weapons and shafts. Furthermore, at least one threaded hole is provided on the intermediate piece for fastening the cap of recoil-damping material.
The cap of recoil-damping material may consist of basically any Mate¬rial, as long as a sufficient damping of the recoil forces occurring during firing is ensured. Preferably, however, the cap consists essentially of rubber, rubber or a rubber compound and is screwed or vulcanized on the intermediate piece. Another advantage of these materials is, in particular, that even this chip machined, in particular can be ground in shape, so that also in the region of the cap can be made to adapt to the shaft and weapon.
In the following, the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to drawings showing exemplary embodiments only. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a first embodiment of a butt plate according to the invention; FIG. 2 shows an enlarged view of the locking element of the butt plate according to FIG. 1; FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view of a second embodiment of a butt plate according to the invention; FIG. 4 shows the locking element of the butt plate according to FIG. 3; FIG. Fig. 5 shows a schematic representation of the butt plate of FIG. 3 in retracted
Status; Fig. 6 in a schematic representation of the butt plate of FIG. 3 with extended
Sporn element; and Fig. 7 is a schematic representation of the butt plate of Fig. 3 with the extension extended
Spur and mandrel element.
The shank cap shown in FIG. 1 has an intermediate piece made of a dimensionally stable material, for example of plastic or of metal, in particular of a light metal alloy. This intermediate piece 1, which may be connected to or molded into the actual rubber butt cap, not shown for reasons of clarity, serves firstly for securing the butt plate to the weapon and secondly for receiving the retractable tailspin. For attachment to the shaft of the weapon, the intermediate piece 1 is provided with fastening bores 2 and 3 for the passage of fastening screws.
To accommodate the tailspin, the intermediate piece 1 a the filler 1 full length sweeping on both sides open recess 4. The recess has a first section 6 and a second section 7 of different diameters.
In this recess 4 is a first spur element 5 einsteck¬bar from the first page. The substantially cylindrical spur element 5 in this case has substantially over its entire length an outer diameter which is at least slightly smaller than the inner diameter of both sections 6 and 7 of the recess 4. In the region of its end, the spur element 5 is provided with a collar-like projection 8 whose diameter is larger than the inner diameter of the section 7, but at least slightly smaller than the diameter of the section 6 Durchme¬ is. In other words, this means that the spur element 5 can maximally enter the section 6 of the intermediate piece until the collar-like projection 8 comes to rest on the upper annular region 9 of the section 7. Thus, in particular, falling out of the spur element 5 downwards is excluded.
The spur element 5 is provided on its outside with locking elements. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, these latching elements are represented by a trapezoidal thread 10 extending essentially over the entire axial length of the spur element, which is merely indicated by a dashed line.
In the region of the lower portion 7 of the recess 4, a locking element 11 is arranged, which on a transverse to the longitudinal axis of the recess 4 recess 12 in the lower portion and this passes completely through. This locking element 11, which is shown in more detail in FIG. 2, has an arcuate cutout 16 and a latching tooth 14 on the end of the arcuate cutout 16 facing away from the actuating end 13. The latching tooth 14 is shaped and dimensioned in such a way that its End can engage in the trapezoidal thread 10 of the spur element 5.
Between the end 15 of the locking element 11 and the bottom 17 of the recess 12, a spring element 18 is arranged, which forces the locking element 11 in the recess 12 outwards. If, for the assembly of the device according to the invention, the ring element 11 is first pressed inwardly against the spring force into the recess 12, the spur element 5 inserted into the recess 4 can pass through the locking element 11 in the recess 12 with its shaft. If now the locking element 11 is released, takes place due to the restoring force of the spring 18, an engagement of the locking tooth 14 of the locking element 11 in the Tra¬pezgewinde 10 of the spur element 5, so that this locked in its axial position and at the same time the locking element 11 is secured against falling out. By actuation of the locking element via the knob 19, the lock can be released and the spur element 5 can be adjusted as desired.
The spur element 5 is provided with a frontally open internal thread 20. In this internal thread 20, a second mandrel element 21, which is provided with a corresponding external thread, are screwed in and out. Thus, a coarse adjustment of the tailspin by means of the locking element and the trapezoidal thread of the spur element 5 can be carried out in a simple manner, optionally supplemented by a fine adjustment by means of the internal thread 20 and the spur element 21, which are preferably configured as a fine thread.
To adapt to different shank shapes, both the adapter 1 and the actuator button 19 may be made of a material, for example, an easy-to-process plastic, which can be brought by cutting or grinding processing in the entspre¬chende form.
The embodiment shown in Figures 3 to 7 basically has the same structure as that shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 embodiment. As can be seen in particular from FIG. 3, the butt plate has an intermediate piece 22 which can be attached to the shaft of a weapon, not shown, by means of through bores 23. For schüt¬zenseitigen conclusion of the butt plate according to the invention, this further comprises a cap 24 ausstoßstoßdämpfenden a material, here rubber, which can be screwed on two fastening screws 25 on the intermediate piece. The fastening screws 25 reach through the rubber cap 24 in indicated continuous openings 26 and engage in threaded bores 27 in the intermediate piece 22.
The intermediate piece 22 has a recess 28 extending over its entire length, which according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 has two sections of different diameters. In the region of the section with the smaller diameter, a second blind hole-like recess 29 is provided, which extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the first recess 28 and cuts it. In this recess, a locking element 30 is arranged, which will be explained in more detail below.
The locking element 30 has a substantially cylindrical base body having a transverse to its longitudinal axis recess 31 which can be penetrated by the spur element 32. The recess 31 is formed like an elongated hole with the longer axis in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking element 30. The outwardly pointing end face of the locking element 30 is designed as a button-like actuating element 33, with which the locking element against the force of only schematically indicated Federein¬richtung two coil springs 34 can be pressed into the recess 31. The spiral supports 34 are supported at one end on the bottom of the blind-hole-like recess 31 and at their other end on the end 33 of the locking element 30 opposite the actuating element 33. For this purpose, this has two recesses 35, in which the coil springs 34 engage.
Further, the locking element 30 has a recess 36, which forms a flange-like Aufla¬ surface 37 around the recess 31. This bearing surface serves as a stop for the collar-like projection 38 at the upper end of the spur element 32, so that this can not fall down from the locking element and thus the buttplate as a whole.
4, the locking element 30 has a bore 39, which extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the locking element 30 and offset therefrom. The bore 39 is at an angle to a horizontal plane through the central longitudinal axis arranged the locking element 30, wherein the inclination of the bore 39 substantially corresponds to the Stei¬gung of the trapezoidal external thread 40 of the spur element 32. The bore 39 has sections thereof an opening 44 pointing towards the recess. In this bore 39 is an unillustrated dowel pin inserted and protrudes with its outer peripheral surface forming a locking element or a locking tooth radially into the recess 31 of the locking element 30.
Now, if the locking element is introduced into the recess 29 of the intermediate piece 22 and penetrated by the spur element 32, the locking element 30 is pressed by the restoring force of the coil springs 34 to the outside, so that the dowel pin and thus in the diction of the present application of the locking tooth in a latching engagement with the trapezoidal thread 40 of the Sporn¬elementes 32 is brought so that it is axially fixed at a defined position. If now the locking element 30 is pressed inwards into the recess 29 via the actuating element 33, the locking tooth comes out of its engagement with the trapezoidal thread 40, so that the sprocket element 32 can be displaced as a whole in the axial direction. Due to the tendency of the detent tooth, instead of an axial displacement, the spur element can also be adjusted by turning in its position relative to the intermediate piece 22, wherein the detent tooth takes over the function of a stationary threaded nut.
As is apparent from Fig. 3, a mandrel member 41 is further provided which has a Außen¬gewinde and in a form- and functionally complementary internal thread in Spornele¬ment 32 can be screwed. At its end, the mandrel element is provided with a spherical bearing element 42, which is exchangeably screwed onto the mandrel element 41 via a thread 43.
In the position shown in Fig. 5, the tail spur from spur element 32 and Dorn¬element 41 is shown highly schematically in the retracted position. In this case, it is schematically indicated that the underside of the intermediate piece 22 can be provided with an enlarged opening of the recess 28 in order, in particular for aesthetic reasons, to allow partially concealed placement of the support element in the intermediate piece. In the position shown in FIG. 6, the spur element 32 has moved completely out into its end position, which is defined by the spur element 32 coming into abutment with its collar-like projection 38 on the flange-like bearing surface 37 of the locking element. Finally, FIG. 7 shows the tailspur in an almost completely extended position, in which also the mandrel element 41 is unscrewed from the spur element.
In order to adapt to different shank shapes on different weapons, the shaft cap according to the illustrated embodiment can be machined by grinding the outer contours of the intermediate piece 22, the cap 24 and the actuating element 33, so that virtually any desired weapon can be replaced by exchanging the existing shaft cap, a buttplate according to the invention can be attached.
